Amanda Seyfried gets honest about avoiding cosmetic surgery
The actress revealed she’ll keep Botox in one spot 'for life'
Amanda Seyfried has no plans for cosmetic surgery for now.
The Mean Girls alum opened up about her thoughts on going under the knife and shared some insights into her beauty regimen in a recent chat with Who What Wear.
"I have a really good dermatologist who tells me that she's never gonna do anything," she told in the interview published on December 10.
However, Amanda revealed, pointing at a specific spot on her forehead where she put Botox, she shared, "But put Botox in the same place for the rest of my life."
In a previous interview, The Housemaid actress revealed to etalkctv that she gave up her botox for her role in The Testament of Ann Lee and the "sacrifice" was well worth.
"I'm an actor and that's my job and that's what I love to do," she told the outlet earlier this year. "I don't necessarily need all that in my life. I just like it. The things that I like, I can sacrifice a little. Of course I can."
"We did make sacrifices, and it was worth it. Every day was fun. We didn't just survive, we thrived," she added.
The no botox rule for The Testament of Ann Lee role was part of director Mona Fastvold's briefing for her character as Ann Lee, the founder of the Shakers.
“I couldn’t get Botox for a year,” she told Vanity Fair in August. “That was a big assignment... When I first got [Botox], I was, like, 'This is amazing,' because I frown a lot. But then it all came back in a way that was absolutely necessary for all the work I was doing."
