Patrick Schwarzenegger felt like a 'kid in a candy store' on dad’s sets
Patrick Schwarzenegger opened up about his "favorite activity" being a child to a famous actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The White Lotus star revealed that he loved to accompany his father to work, at the Sun Valley Film Festival in Idaho on December 6
"We would go to Universal Studios, and he would go into his hair and makeup the trailer," Patrick looked back.
"I got to be in his trailer, and I would do my homework in there," he continued.
Gushing over his experience on set, he said it was "fascinating" to watch his father go in "as Dad and then coming out of the trailer as a different character," he referred to Arnold's 1997's Batman & Robin and 2003's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
The whole thing felt to him like a literal "kid in a candy store."
"The big trailer had the little ramp you'd walk up and that was where craft services was. It had all the different candies and all the different foods in there," he explained.
Moreover, Patrick revealed that he also got to visit the backlot's adjacent Universal Studios Hollywood amusement park. "He would take me on the golf cart We would go from his set to the Jaws ride and then over to the ET ride."
"It was this dream world that you got to see everything. It just made me super intrigued with it," he recalled.
Patrick added, "So, that's kind of how I fell in love with that side of the industry."
