Jennifer Lawrence opens up about postpartum body

Jennifer Lawrence has not shied away from how her body has changed after two pregnancies.

As fans will be aware, Jennifer Lawrence welcomed first son, Cy Maroney, with husband Cooke Maroney in February 2022.

She gave birth to another son in early 2025, and has been candid about her postpartum struggles openly.

The actress was candid about her thoughts on plastic surgery following two labours in a revealing new interview with The New Yorker. 

The Oscar-winning actress, currently promoting her upcoming film Die My Love, shared her plans for aesthetic enhancements due to her career demands with no hesitation.

She began the chat by admitting that she has avoided fillers so far, but does not mind trying Botox. 

She explained that keeping her forehead mobile is essential for portraying “regular people,” like the spiraling new mom she plays in her forthcoming movie.

When asked if she had considered a deep-plane facelift like her friend Jenner, Lawrence did not hold back, “No, but believe me, I’m gonna!”

The actress, who shares two sons with husband Cooke Maroney, also revealed that she has been planning a bust enhancement before filming a particularly raunchy scene this spring. 

Reflecting on her first pregnancy in 2022, she noted, “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one.”

As for her second baby, expected in March, Lawrence admitted, “Second one, nothing bounced back.” 

Despite her fame, she emphasized that her surgery plans are not purely career-driven. 

“Maybe I wouldn't be hustling to the appointment the same way. But I think yes.”
