Christina Aguilera shares entering new chapter with son Max
Christina Aguilera shared which one of her children share her musical instincts
Christina Aguilera has had her hands full balancing motherhood with her busy schedule, and her kids are keeping her on her toes in the sweetest ways.
The superstar, who shares son Max Liron and daughter Summer Rain with fiancé Matt Rutler, opened up about family life during her recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, as revealed in a preview clip, per PEOPLE Magazine.
She revealed that she and her eldest have officially entered a new chapter, and are now college hunting.
The popstar shared that she and Max are currently “looking at colleges,” admitting, “time flies, it really does.”
Aguilera went on to disclose that despite their educational pursuits, music remains the favorite bonding ground between her and Max.
On the other hand, her younger child, 10-year-old Summer, has also started showing strong creative instincts of her own.
“She’s such an artist, she paints, she draws, she makes beautiful masks, and she’s just so creative, but she’s definitely her own thing,” Aguilera told Hudson.
The singer said she never pushes her kids toward any path, but Summer has naturally taken an interest in acting.
“She’s had a few lessons,” Aguilera noted.
Despite having a superstar mom, Summer prefers Aguilera in her offstage, makeup-free mode, and she makes that preference very clear.
“So I’m done shooting, Summer’s like, ‘Can you take that off now? I just want to be cozy,’” Aguilera shared with a laugh.
She added that her daughter loves her natural freckles and often asks whether she’ll have freckles of her own one day.
“She’s the number one mama fan!” she joked.
