Christina Aguilera finally reveals how she earns 'cool mom points'
Christina Aguilera shares her two children, Max Liron and Summer Rain, with her fiancé, Matt Rutler
Christina Aguilera recently admitted that her children, Max Liron and Summer Rain, keep her humble.
On Tuesday, December 9, the 44-year-old American singer-songwriter and actress talked about the influence of her two kids on her life in a preview clip for her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Hudson asked Aguilera how she earns “cool mom points” with a 17-year-old son, Max Liron, and a 10-year-old daughter, Summer, to which she revealed that it is “tough.”
The mother of two, who shares her kids with her fiancé Matt Rutler, said, “It’s tough with kids in general. They will call you out for anything and everything. And I’m like, ‘I’ve lived through some things too!’”
“For sure they keep you humbled, but you do learn through their eyes also and [motherhood] teaches you patience, too,” she noted.
As Max and Summer are growing up, Aguilera and Rutler are “looking at colleges.”
The Learning to Fly crooner stated, “Time flies; it really does.”
For those unaware, Aguilera and Rutler first interacted with each other on the set of her movie Burlesque in 2010. They started dating one another during the Pitch Perfect 2 star’s divorce from her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
It is pertinent to mention that Matt Rutler proposed to Christina Aguilera on Valentine’s Day in 2014.
