Lena Dunham counts herself in Taylor Swift's close circle, so it's significant when she says her fiancé, Travis Kelce, is a "treasure."
Along with her pal, she attended the recent Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium. This experience led the Girls creator to add herself to the team's fan list, despite being from New York and now living in London.
"She’s in her sports era," she writes on Instagram, referring to her presence in the match while showering praise on the tight end chief, "Love you @killatrav."
In a separate post, Lena shares a snap of a Chiefs jacket covering her suitcase, with the caption, "If you see me in a new piece of Chiefs merch every day for the next 17 months, blame @handler.official and keep moving."
Though the Too Much star is rarely seen with Taylor, she has always spoken highly of the musician.
“She’s kind, she’s devoted, she’s introspective, she’s emotional, she’s funny as f***. She's everything that you would want her to be," she told Billboard in 2024.
Similarly, the warmth is replicated by the Grammy winner, too, who previously raved about Lena for helping her understand she is a feminist.
"Becoming friends with Lena, without her preaching to me, but just seeing why she believes what she believes, why she says what she says, why she stands for what she stands for, has made me realize that I've been taking a feminist stance without actually saying so," she told the Guardian in 2014.
Meanwhile, reports say Taylor and Travis are preparing for their wedding, though it's unclear when it will take place, as the couple has been mum about the date.
