Leonardo DiCaprio is looking back at the lighthearted time spent with late co-star Diane Keaton at the set of their 1996's Marvin's Room.
The 50-year-old actor, who was recently named "Entertainer of the Year" by The Times, called Diane someone who made those around her feel like "the funniest person in the world."
“She had the most incredible laugh…It would echo through the entire set," Leonardo said of the Diane.
"I mean, burst-out-loud laughing. I’ll never forget it," he continued.
Diane played the role of the aunt of Leonardo's troubled teen character in the Jerry Zaks-directed drama.
The Titanic star added, "I kind of lived to make her laugh every day on set, because it was so infectious. She was incredible.”
It is pertinent to mention that the news of Diane's death was announced on Saturday, October 11, and a number of celebrities, including Leonardo, posted touching tributes on her demise. She was 79.
Leonardo posted a throwback picture of himself with and Diane wrote, "Diane Keaton was one of a kind. Brilliant, funny, and unapologetically herself."
"A legend, and icon, and a truly kind human being. I had the honor of working with her at 18. She will be deeply missed," he added at the time.
