Juliette Binoche, a well-known actress, has made her directorial debut with a documentary titled In-I Motion.
Though the star has several hit movies under her belt, what pushed her toward filmmaking was advice from the late Robert Redford.
“He said, ‘You’ve got to make a film out of this show,’” the actress tells Deadline. “It just gave me a little push to find a way to make it happen.”
Separately, Juliette has a movie in the works called Merci Charlotte (Thank You Charlotte), which she shared details about during her appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival.
“The one I’m doing this summer is about the relationship between a child, so less than 10-years-old, and me. He’s from Turkey, and I have adopted him. It’s [about] the relationship of different worlds," she shares.
But this is not the only project Juliette is working on. Queen At Sea is another one. Though details about the plot are unknown, the star teases a few details, stating, “It has the theme of Alzheimer’s and what are the boundaries between what you can do, or what you cannot do, with somebody who has this illness."
"It brings up questions…and through different generations, there are three different generations," Juliette concludes.
