Cher, boyfriend Alexander 'AE' Edwards set to make major move

It is being reported that Cher is preparing to marry her boyfriend Alexander "AE" Edwards before her 80th birthday.

An insider close to the 79-year-old American singer and actress told The Mirror that she is all set to walk down the aisle to tie the knot with Alexandar before she turns 80 on May 20, 2026.

Despite being married twice, Cher is ready to “commit” for the third time and “does not give a hoot” about the age difference she has with her 39-year-old boyfriend, as he is half of her age.

The insider stated, “She has set her heart on walking down the aisle with him around the time of her landmark birthday in May.”

Cher “sees her upcoming celebration at turning 80 as the perfect time for her and Alexander to seal the deal,” the source quipped, adding that she “doesn't give a hoot about their age difference and they're both ready to commit to each other.”

For those unaware, the Mamma Mia 2 star and Alexandar, who is a rapper by profession, have been dating each other since late 2022.

It is pertinent to mention that Cher has been married twice and her first marriage to Sonny Bono lasted six years, from 1969 to 1975, while her second marriage to Allman Brothers’ singer Gregg Allman was from 1975 to 1979.
