In Sinners, Michael B. Jordan plays a vampire, so in light of this, he was asked about his favourite on-screen vampire ever.
Interestingly, the star's response comes as a surprise, as he did not pick the character from any vampire-centric movies, such as Twilight, Interview with a Vampire, Blade, or True Blood.
Instead, he tells People at the Gotham Awards that it's “Vampire in Brooklyn". The movie was released in 1995, starring Eddie Murphy.
Meanwhile, Jordan's performance in Sinners as Elijah Smoke and Elias Stack Moore was praised by many. At the Palm Springs International Film Awards, he is set to get the Icon Award for his portrayal of the twin brothers.
“Michael B. Jordan once again proves why he’s been one of the most compelling performers for the past two decades. In ‘Sinners,’ his reunion with Ryan Coogler yields a bold and intricate performance as twin brothers Smoke and Stack,” said Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi.
“Michael’s ability to inhabit two distinct souls with such power and nuance is nothing short of extraordinary. For this remarkable achievement, and for his impressive body of work, we are proud to honor him with the Palm Springs International Film Awards Icon Award.”
The festival will be held from January 2 to 12.
