Prince Harry makes surprising confession on Stephen Colbert show
Prince Harry talked about ‘The Crown’ in surprising move during his appearance on ‘The Late Show’
Prince Harry surprised royal fans as he made a major confession to Stephen Colbert during his appearance on The Late Show.
The Duke of Sussex revealed that he has watched The Crown despite members of the royal family avoiding it as they consider the show misleading.
During the interview, Colbert asked Harry if he had seen the show, to which Harry paused, looked at the audience and admitted, “Yes, I have watched The Crown.”
King Charles’ son, after prompting laughter in the studio, added, "There’s people laughing at that - yes, I have actually watched The Crown.”
Colbert then asked whether he watched the older seasons or the newer ones. "The older stuff and the more recent stuff,” responded Harry.
When Stephen jokingly asked if he fact-checks the show, Harry played along by pretending to pull out a notebook and jot down notes.
"Yes, I do actually,” said the Duke while laughing.
After they finished laughing, Harry brought up his book Spare and explained why getting history “right” matters.
Pointing at the copy Stephen was holding, the Duke of Sussex said, “Yes, I do actually. Which, by the way, is another reason why it’s so important that history has it right.”
