Robert Irwin python tribute from mom Terri melts hearts
The dancing pro turned 22 days after his 'Dancing with the Stars' victory
Robert Irwin's mom is celebrating her son's another turn around the sun with a nostalgic throwback.
On December 1, Robert's family and friends shared sweet tributes to mark his 22nd birthday and a few childhood snaps, too close to nature.
The dancing pro's mom Terri Irwin marked his special day with his throwback snaps with Jenny, his Burmese python.
The dotting mom posted photos of Robert as a baby, toddler, teenager and now adult, hugging the animal belongs to the reptile family.
"Happy 22nd birthday @robertirwinphotography! Looking forward to your next year of adventures," his mom wrote.
"Remember to hold on to your friends, and they’ll hold on right back! Love you!" she added.
He rushed to express his love for the post by commenting, "Aww I love this."
Robert later reshared the post on his social media stories, writing, "Thanks mum. Me and Jenny."
Less than a week before, the birthday boy won the Dancing with the Stars season 34. His sister Bindi Irwin also did the same back in 2015.
“To follow in those footsteps and to do the same has meant everything to me,” he told People after the finale. “This has absolutely changed my life.”
