‘Disgraced’ Andrew’s ego keeps him going despite losing royal titles
Palace insiders say Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor still sees himself as a victim in Jeffrey Epstein controversy
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is said to be unlikely to harm himself, even after losing his royal titles and being told to leave his home, a source has claimed.
The “disgraced” Prince has sparked tensions within the palace that he might harm himself after losing his titles and the Royal Lodge.
Sources claimed that the members of the royal family are concerned about his mental health despite siding with King Charles on his decision.
However, an insider told OK! Magazine that Andrew will not do anything to harm himself as he still believes he is the victim of his situation.
They noted that his big ego is helping him get through the difficult times, revealing that the former Duke of York continues to ask staff to call him “Prince.”
The source said that the "good news" is Andrew is "far too egotistical to take his life."
"Despite being stripped of titles and essentially made homeless by his own brother, Andrew is genuinely convinced he is the victim here,” noted a palace aide.
“That belief, combined with an ego so massive it is beyond belief, are the only things keeping him afloat.
“He thinks his life is worth too much to take and is still asking staff to call him Prince. If he stopped acting like that, there would be more cause to worry about him, but for now, his huge sense of self-importance is intact."
