King Charles has reportedly invited his disgraced brother Andrew to the private Christmas lunch after removal of royal titles.
This has been claimed by royal expert Rob Shuter in his substack ShuterScoop.
He claims, “And here’s the real jaw-dropper — and yes, I triple-checked this because it’s that wild — Charles has invited Prince Andrew to the private Christmas lunch.
“Andrew. But not to church, obviously, because that would be a PR disaster of biblical proportions.”
Rob further said royal tensions boil over as Andrew gets a private invite from King Charles.
The royal expert’s claims came weeks after King Charles initiated a formal process to remove the style, titles and honours of Andrew.
Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
He has also been issued notice to evict Royal Lodge, where the former Duke of York has been living with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.
The palace said, “His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.”
Meanwhile, there are also reports the disgraced royal will not be in his new home before Christmas and it looks likely his move out will be delayed until February.
The Sun, citing royal sources, reported, "He has a large house where he has lived for a long time and he will be moving into a more modest house so, logically, it won’t happen this side of Christmas."
