Fellow royal slaps Sarah Ferguson, Meghan Markle publicly?

Sarah Ferguson and Meghan Markle have seemingly just suffered a very public call out, and many are calling it a ‘swipe’ of sorts.

The news has come via GB News and according to their findings, the apparent jibe

Jane Percy, Duchess of Northumberland made this comment in an interview alongside The Telegraph.

In it she said, “unlike other duchesses who put their names everywhere, I'm not using my title.”

“I'd say it could be detrimental as one or two duchesses haven't really helped the cause lately,” she also added, hinting at the Duchess of Sussex and the former Duchess of York allegedly.

Her comment also concluded with a sly jibe as she says, “people think it must have been easy for me, but nothing comes from nothing. It’s all been down to hard work.”

For those unversed, while Sarah Ferguson has lost her Duchess title as a result of her and her ex-husband’s connection to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Meghan Markle is still considered a Duchess by way of her marriage to Prince Harry.

While the US based Sussexes have been forbidden from using their HRH ever since they moved away from the Firm, the Duchess’ luxury lifestyle brand As Ever also consists of the Duchess branding.

More recently she was also announced as ‘Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex’ while at a friends house in the Upper East Side of New York, for the Humanitarians’ of the Year award, as reported on Harpers Baazar.
