Meghan Markle breaks silence with new statement on viral accusations
Meghan Markle pushes back against viral accusations over photoshoot dress
Meghan Markle has released a new statement to reject claims that she failed to return clothes from past photoshoots.
The claims went viral on social media after old podcast comments from journalist Vanessa Grigoriadis resurfaced online.
The video sparked another debate as the Duchess of Sussex appears in a green Galvan gown in her upcoming Netflix special With Love, Meghan, the same dress she wore for a 2022 Variety shoot.
Meghan’s spokesman told GB News the claims were false and said any items kept from shoots were agreed upon with stylists and handled under normal industry rules.
"The insinuation that any items were taken without the full knowledge and agreement of the on-set stylists or their respective teams is not only categorically false, but also highly defamatory,” said her representative.
They added, "Any items kept were done so in total transparency and in accordance with contractual arrangements."
The spokesman said any clothing kept from her work projects was managed correctly, dismissing claims of mishandling.
They further stressed that all wardrobe decisions followed clear industry rules and were carried out openly.
