Donald Glover reveals shocking health scare last year

Last year, Donald Glover abruptly cancelled his Childish Gambino 2024 tour. The reason he shared was a stroke he suffered, which his doctor diagnosed.

He shares this during his speech at the Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles. At the time, the actor recalls experiencing "bad pain" leading him to visit a hospital.

This happened before his show in Louisiana last year, he said, adding that a hole was discovered in his heart.

The star, though, admits he felt he had let his fans down by having to cancel his tour. "I had a really bad pain in my head in Louisiana, and I did the show anyway. I couldn't really see well, so when we went to Houston, I went to the hospital and the doctor was like, 'You had a stroke.'

Donald refers to Jamie Foxx's stroke in 2023 to quip, "And the first thing I thought was like, 'Oh, here I am still copying Jamie Foxx. That's really like the second thing. The first thing was like, 'I'm letting everybody down.' I know it's not true.

"I'd broken my foot," he continues, "and they found a hole in my heart. So, I had this surgery, and then I had to have another surgery."

"They say everybody has two lives, and the second life starts when you realize you have one. You got one life, guys," Donald concludes.
