Maya Henry's documentary could 'upset' Liam Payne's family
The former One Direction star was reported dead in October last year
Liam Payne's ex-fiancée, Maya Henry, is reportedly planning to speak her heart out in a documentary about their relationship and breakup-a year after his shocking death.
The former One Direction star, 31, was reported dead in October last year after plunging from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
His final rituals were held on November 20 at Saint Mary's Church in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
Maya's decision is expected to upset Liam's family, especially as she previously claimed in an explosive interview that the singer used heroin and sexted fans.
Model Maya, 24, and Liam were in a relationship for about 4 years, from 2018 to 2022.
According to The Sun, she is now working with HBO and an independent production company on the documentary.
A source told the publication: 'This documentary is going to be hugely upsetting for Liam's family, who are struggling with unimaginable loss.
'There is also concern within the industry that is is going to be one-sided. Of course, Liam is not here to give his side of the story or his version of events. It all just feels terribly sad.'
The Texan model spoke about her ex four months after his death in an explosive interview, claiming he used heroin and sexted fans.
She said: 'I loved him very much, but he was 'unrecognisable' while on drugs and she put herself in 'unsafe and harmful situations' as he attended addiction.
The pair called off their engagement in 2022.
