Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo made 'commitment pact' with each other
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have developed a strong bond while working on the Wicked movies.
However, the fact is that they immediately felt connected to each other before the started working on the musical.
Erivo has revealed that she and Grande made a pact before kickstarting work on the movie.
The pact was mainly focused on protecting and caring for each other. She added, "Before Wicked really started rolling, Ariana and I made a pact with each other.”
"We committed to protecting and caring for each other through this process.”
Cynthia opened that they both tried to break the common perception about how female costars let their egos get in the way until they start a battle.
The two co-actors "determined" to do the opposite. Erivo in her new book "Simply More: A Book for Anyone Who Has Been Told They’re Too Much" revealed, “We were always looking out for each other. Our partnership was important.”
“We shared a strong synergy, a commitment to authenticity, and that, combined with the natural connection we fostered both on and off set, allowed us to support each other emotionally and professionally."
