Piers Morgan exposses tension behind Kelly Brook's short 'BGT' stint
Kelly herself has claimed that Ant and Dec were responsible for her firing from 'BGT'
Piers Morgan has finally spoken out about Kelly Brook's long-standing feud with Ant and Dec following her appearance on I'm A Celebrity on Sunday night.
Taking to Instagram, Piers shared a throwback photo of himself with Kelly and the Geordie duo, taken during her two 'disastrous days' as a guest judge on Britain's Got Talent in 2009.(Although she filmed for two days, her stint actually spanned six days in total).
Reports have long suggested that Ant and Dec were disappointed when Kelly asked them what their roles on the show involved, despite being the program's long-time hosts.
Kelly later blamed the pair for her eventual dismissal from the judging panel.
Ex-BGT judge Piers has now confirmed that her question did indeed anger the hosts and admitted that their reaction partly contributed to her being let go.
Piers wrote: 'As Kelly Brook goes into the I'm A Celebrity jungle, a throwback to when she very briefly appeared as a judge on Britain's Got Talent...for just two disastrous days!
'Be interesting to see how she interacts with Ant and Dec given she still blames them for being tired so fast and ruthlessly which isn't far from the truth.
'They weren't happy they hadn't been consulted by Simon Cowell about Kelly's sudden hiring-and even less happy when she asked them what they did on the show.'
During her first scenes on I'm A Celeb on Sunday, Ant and Dec appeared to awkwardly avoid acknowledging Kelly, despite knowing her for years-a moment reportedly stemming from their bitter fallout.
Kelly herself has claimed that Ant and Dec were responsible for her firing from BGT, pointing to her lack of knowledge about the hosts' roles as the source of a 'clash of egos.'
