Tom Cruise sparked buzz after cosy chat with blonde bombshell Sydney Sweeney at the 16th Governors Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The 63-year-old Hollywood icon and the 28-year-old Euphoria star were spotted enjoying each other's company at the ceremony, where Cruise was honoured with a prestigious honarary Oscar.

Sweeney-known for her attraction to older men and Cruise exchanged sweet moment as they conversed at the star-studded event held at the Ray Dolby Ballroom, according to a video shared by Variety. 

The actress turned heads in a form-fitting, shimmering gown that highlighted her curves and showcased her perfect slim figure.

Meanwhile, the Mission: Impossible legend newly single following his split from Ana de Armas ,37, looked effortlessly dapper in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie.

Although the context of their conversation remains unknown, the two appeared engrossed in discussion for quite some time. 

During the ceremony, Cruise delivered an emotional speech, paying tribute to the countless individuals who bring films to life and praising the power of cinema to unite audiences, Variety reported.

He received his honarary Oscar from director Alejandro G.. Iñárritu, who is currently working with Cruise on an upcoming, still-untitled film set for release in 2026.

Cruise is no stranger to the Academy Awards, having earned four nominations throughout his career. Best Actor for Born on the Fourth of July and Jerry Maguire, Best Supporting Actor for Magnolia, and Best Picture as a producer of Top Gun: Maverick.
