George Clooney skips Julia Robert’s movie premiere for THIS reason

George Clooney has recently skipped best pal Julia Roberts’ movie premiere as he decided to go on a date with wife Amal Clooney.

According to Radar Online, a source reveals that he took Amal to the Broadway play Art instead of walking the red carpet with the Notting Hill actress.

“He blew off a major Hollywood moment to be on a date with his wife… It was sweet – and very George,” explains an insider.

Another source opens up that the couple “held hands” during the Broadway performance.

“George looked thrilled just to be by Amal’s side,” mentions an insider.

Meanwhile, the Ocean’s Eleven actor stirred marriage crisis rumours after George’s recent “boozy relapse left Amal” furious.

In a separate with Esquire Magazine, George admitted that he ended the Tony Awards night “like a high school drunk” back in June.

The Batman & Robin actor confessed that he had “caught up for all his abstinence in one night”.

However, some sources close to Amal tell Radar Online that she was “anything but entertained”.

A source close to the couple states, “Amal has drawn a firm line. She's told George that his drinking isn't something she's prepared to overlook.”

“She admired the effort he put into staying sober, but hearing him boast about getting 'dumb drunk' really upset her,” adds an insider.
