Theo James dishes out exciting details about ‘The Gentlemen 2’
English actor reveals what fans can expert from upcoming show
Theo James has recently dished out exciting details about The Gentlemen series 2.
The English actor, who plays aristocrat Eddie Halstead in the new series, speaks to The Times and reveals what fans can expect from the upcoming show, which will premiere on Netflix next year.
“We've been trying to build on what we did in the first season but make the world bigger, darker,” said the 40-year-old.
Theo mentioned, “It's still comedic, hopefully, but I think it's a little richer in terms of the story.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the Divergent actor, who shares two young children with wife Ruth Kearney, shared how fatherhood changed him.
“It sounds corny but having kids levelled me out because I realised that there's something bigger and more important than my own hyper-obsessiveness,” explained Theo.
For those unversed, the comedy drama became one of streaming platform’s biggest hits of the 2024 after it reached 44million views in just four weeks.
The Gentlemen is reportedly based on Guy Ritchie’s 2019 movie of the same name which starred Matthew McConaughey, Michelle Dockery and Hugh Grant.
Meanwhile, Guy started shooting season two of the gangster show in London back in June and it will premiere somewhere in 2026.
Besides Theo, the cast members include Vinnie Jones, Kaya Scodelario, Hugh Bonneville, so on and so forth.
