Jeremy Renner is facing shocking new allegations from his former filmmaking partner, Chinese director Yi Zhou, who claims the actor sent her “intimate” photos, made threats to “call ICE,” and left her “scared for [her] life” after their falling out following their alleged relationship.

Zhou shared her accusations on Instagram on Monday, November 3, before expanding on them in an interview with the Daily Mail on Thursday.

According to Zhou, the Marvel star first contacted her in June, sending her “personal and intimate photographs of himself.”

“He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship,” she wrote. “I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption.”

Zhou, who directed the documentary Chronicles of Disney and the animated film Stardust Future: Stars and Scars starring Renner, alleged that the actor later refused to promote their projects and “denied any personal relation or professional collaboration.”

“When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me,” she claimed. Zhou said the alleged threat caused her “personal and reputational harm” and took her “a long time” to gain the courage to speak out.

In her interview with the Daily Mail, Zhou provided screenshots and alleged Renner had sent pornographic clips and explicit photos. She also claimed Renner became “angry and drunk” during a meeting at his home, leaving her “scared for [her] life.”

Renner has not responded publicly to Zhou’s accusations. The actor previously faced separate allegations from ex-wife Sonni Pacheco in 2019, which he denied, calling them “nonsense.”
