KPop Demon Hunters star Rei Ami opened up about what it was really like being a part of the record-breaking movie.

From their surprise appearance in Saturday Night Live and live rendition of Golden on The Tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon to Netflix Records the American singer and rapper reflected on the wild ride.

"This is a cultural phenomenon. The records, the headlines — it’s absolutely unprecedented. [I’m] so honored and in awe, and I think I’m just truly humbled by the power of music and good art and how it can really, truly — it sounds so cliché — change the world," Ami, whose real name is Sarah Yeeun Lee, added noting that she still hasn’t processed the popularity of the film.

"That’s exactly what this film and this soundtrack did, and it brought so much hope and light in[to] such a dim, grim world, so I am absolutely honored and privileged to be a part of it," she gushed over the hit which became the most-streamed movie in Netflix history by garnering 236 million views.

Alongside Ami, Audrey Nuna and Ejae provided the vocals for the fictional group Huntr/x, a fictional K-pop girl group that hunts mythical monsters when not filling stadiums and is seeking to defeat a rival boy band of demons intent on taking over the world.

While on the red carpet for Heidi Klum’s Halloween bash, where the Golden hitmaker was dressed up as her character Zoey from the film’s opening scene, she expressed amazement at the global popularity her movie has achieved, noting how their characters have become the perfect Halloween costumes for kids.

"It’s everywhere, I can’t get a break from it, oh my goodness," Ami, 30, said, referring to seeing so many fans and children dressed as demon hunters. "And I’m not complaining, please! I want to see even more."
