Justin Baldoni under fire for ditching court deadline in Blake Lively lawsuit

Justin Baldoni’s legal battle against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and the famous publication officially came to an end after he missed his chance to appeal the court’s ruling.

New court papers obtained by Daily Mail showed that a final judgment was entered, closing Baldoni’s multimillion-dollar defamation lawsuits. 

The 52-year-old actor and director had time to appeal after a judge dismissed his case in June, but the deadline quietly passed without any move from his side.

The case began after Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment while filming It Ends With Us.

He denied the claims and fired back with a $400 million defamation suit against Lively, her husband Reynolds, her publicist Leslie Sloane, and The New York Times, accusing them of spreading false stories.

But now, that case is officially closed, as Lively’s harassment lawsuit remains active, and her lawyers are asking the court to make Baldoni pay her legal fees for defending against his failed claims.

According to new filings, A Simple Favor actress’ team accused the actor and director of using secret apps and auto-deleting messages to hide evidence and attack her reputation. 

However, they said his team delayed and withheld key information throughout the case.

Sources also claimed that the actor and his PR team worked together to control online stories about the allegations.

Blake, who starred alongside Justin in It Ends With Us, accused that he behaved inappropriately during filming. 

The film was a major box office hit, but its success has been clouded by the ongoing legal drama surrounding its stars.
