Taylor Swift responds to Travis Kelce’s teammate singing 'Fate of Ophelia'
Taylor Swift’s fiancé and his Chiefs teammates are embracing their ‘Showgirl’ era
Travis Kelce’s pal and teammate Chris Jones was singing along to Taylor Swift's newly released song, The Fate of Ophelia, which he knows all the lyrics to, during his latest press conference.
The Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle, 31, went viral on social media with his video walking into the press conference where Swift’s new single was playing and he began singing along, “And on the land, the sea, the sky,” before asking, “How we doing?”
When asked if he knew the name of the song, Jones answered in a beat, “The Fate of Ophelia,” and showed off the track on his phone screen before he ended the talk, saying, “Y'all take care.”
The Eras Tour performer seemed to enjoy the fun trending video, as she dropped a “like” on the TikTok video.
Swift has found a loving and supportive family among the Chiefs since she started dating the tight end in 2023.
The 14-time-Grammy winner is an integral part of all their after-game celebrations, and the team also frequently receives her baked goods as she practices her hobby.
Kelce also paid tribute to the Wishlist hitmaker after scoring his 100th touchdown by doing the viral Fate of Ophelia dance on the field.
