Kensington Palace issues key update on Prince William 'new era'
Prince William, King Charles join forces to shed light on important issue
Prince William joined his father, King Charles, as royals entered their 'new era' in order to shed light on an important cause.
Ahead of the star-studded ceremony of the annual Earthshot Prize Awards, the Prince of Wales' team has been promoting the meaningful event by highlighting the work done by the finalists and Earthshot members.
On the Waleses' official social media channels, Kensington Palace applauded the efforts made by those who are safeguarding the ocean.
The statement reads, "Choosing to repair and preserve our oceans for future generations. Bringing forward a new era where everyone uses the ocean sustainably."
Three finalists, Bonds for Ocean Conservation (@debtfornaturecoalition), The High Seas Treaty (@highseasalliance) and Matter (@matter_hq), have been lauded for their efforts in protecting marine life and restoring vital ecosystems.
For the unversed, the annual Earthshot Prize Awards are set to take place in November in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
King Charles turns into a podcaster:
On October 25, a new podcast titled Unearthed: The need for seeds has been released, featuring the monarch, Cate Blanchett, Ambassador for Wakehurst and Dr Elinor Breman, Senior Research Leader.
The trio celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Millennium Seed Bank at Kew Gardens while discussing "the world’s largest underground seed bank and conservation resource for diverse wild plant species."
King Charles is a prominent climate activist, and he has passed this commitment to his son, William, as evident in his passion project, The Earthshot Prize.
