Chris Martin's daughter Apple leaves fans stunned with surprise performance
Apple Martin follows in dad Chris Martin's footsteps with new career highlight
Chris Martin’s daughter, Apple, has inherited his singing skills, as she left the audience surprised at her debut performance.
The 21-year-old belted out the song, Satellite, with the band Jade Street at Cannery Hall, Nashville.
Apple’s performance went viral all over social media, with several fans comparing her vocal range to the Coldplay frontman’s.
In the videos shared on the internet, the model was seen showing off her singing skills, joined by Eli Meyuhas and Zachery Zwelling.
The song she performed was her own, which she created alongside her peers at Vanderbilt University.
Music is not a new territory for the media personality, as she is also credited for songwriting on Coldplay songs, Let Somebody Go, and feelslikeimfallinginlove.
Although Chris joined the audience and appreciated his daughter’s performance from the crowd, he “made it clear to fans that while he enjoyed meeting them, he was there to support his daughter and didn’t want the night to be focused on him,” according to the Vanderbilt Hustler.
While fans’ reaction to the debut performance was mostly positive, some criticised Apple for being “off-key” and joked about “nepo baby” allegations.
Apple is the eldest child of Chris and his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, who are also parents to son, Moses, 19.
Apple is Paltrow and Martin’s eldest child, as the former couple is also the parents of 19-year-old son Moses.
