Tik Tok released a report to provide transparency on its digital security for users
TikTok has recently announced its Q2 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, which primarily focuses on the platform’s commitment to providing a secure and accurate safety experience.
The report includes data from April to June 2025 and outlines precautionary measures to identify and remove content that violates its safety guidelines across the globe.
Globally, TikTok deleted 189,578,228 videos, which accounted for approximately 0.7% of all content uploaded to the platform.
Among the deleted videos, 163,962,241 were found and removed using computer-aided detection, but 7,457,309 were restored following secondary assessment.
To protect TikTok’s integrity, the social media site deleted 76,991,660 fraudulent accounts during this phase as well as an additional 25,904,708 accounts reckoned to belong to individuals under the age of 13.
The report further declared that a considerable part of the total deleted videos, 30.6% across the globe, had sensitive subjects that did not comply with TikTok’s restriction policies.
On the contrary, 14.0% violated the platform’s behavioral benchmarks, while 6.1% violated privacy and security policies.
The recent guidelines provided insights into the scope and type of content, demonstrating TikTok’s dedication to transparency.
The report underscores the data-driven commitment. Readers can acquaint themselves with the Q1 2025 report to learn about the content guidelines and platform accuracy in both English and Urdu.
