Kim Kardashian makes bizarre claim about ‘simple’ daily-life stuff

Kim Kardashian is opening up about being a little out of touch with everyday items' prices. 

The reality star admitted she doesn’t really know what basic items like milk cost during the Oct. 15 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast.

While playing a game of “Confess or Text” with host Alex Cooper, Kardashian, 44, was asked how much she spends on glam each year. 

“Well, a lot,” she replied, before noting that styling related to The Kardashians on Hulu is covered by production, meaning she doesn’t actually handle those expenses herself.

When Cooper pressed her to give a rough estimate, Kardashian paused and confessed, “I don’t have a concept of what, like, certain simple things cost.” 

After thinking for a moment, she added, “I’d like to know a little bit more about what like a milk carton costs.”

As they tossed around possible numbers, Cooper guessed that her yearly glam expenses might reach around $1 million. 

“You know? I don’t think I’d be surprised at that,” the host said. Kardashian laughed and playfully responded, “This hair isn’t cheap,” while running her fingers through her extensions.

Just weeks earlier, the SKIMS founder showed off her humour during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. 

In a lighthearted skit, she joked about her ability to revive old internet trends and memes. “I know, it was totally over, but I just brought it back,” Kardashian said, calling that one of her “superpowers.”

“I’m Kim Kardashian, and I can just bring anything back anytime I want,” she added, teasing Fallon before reviving viral catchphrases like “No cap” and even performing a dab.

From setting fashion trends to poking fun at herself, Kardashian continues to balance her larger-than-life image with moments of self-awareness, even if she’s still figuring out the price of a carton of milk.
