Gwen Stefani soaks up extra love on special day thanks to Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton made Gwen Stefani’s big day even more special by rallying extra love for the American singer-songwriter.

Celebrating the Just a Girl hitmaker’s 56th birthday on Friday, October 3, the country music star shared a throwback photo of the couple sharing a kiss, accompanied by a short and sweet caption.

"Y’all help me wish @gwenstefani a happy birthday!!!!!! I love you pretty girl!!!!!" the Austin chart topper wrote on Instagram.

The comments section quickly flooded with heartfelt messages, including one that read, "Happy birthday to the love of your life and ours [teary eyed and red heart emoji]."

Another fan chimed in, "Came back to say we love ur wife and we love u!"

"Your pretty girl is so loved by you and so many people around the world!!! Happy Birthday, Gwen Shelton!!!" added a third.

As for the birthday girl, she celebrated by reposting many of the warm birthday wishes from friends and fans on her Instagram stories, responding with sweet replies and heart emojis.

Notably, the lead vocalist of the No Doubt band hasn’t posted any dedicated birthday messages on her Instagram grid just yet.

For the unversed, Stefani and Shelton’s love story began nearly a decade ago when they met as co-judges on The Voice in 2014.

After going through their respective divorces, their friendship blossomed into a romance in 2015.

They made their red carpet debut as a couple in February 2016 and got engaged in October 2020, before tying the knot on July 3, 2021.
