Finneas proposes to Claudia Sulewski after dating for 7 years
Finneas got down on one knee and proposed to longtime girlfriend Claudia Sulewski after their relationship turned seven.
The 28-year-old singer and producer announced the major news through a joint Instagram post with the multi-hyphenated star, 29, on Wednesday, September 24.
The newly engaged couple revealed that they got engaged on Monday, September 22, in the caption, as they wrote, "forever and ever 9.22."
The post featured an adorable carousel of the couple’s big day, including a video of them in a helicopter as they jetted off to the special location.
The influencer turned actress also showed off her cushion-cut diamond ring in one of the pictures.
The Lotus Eater hitmaker first met the YouTuber back in 2018 through a dating app and they hit it off right away – inspiring many of his hit tracks to come.
Finneas previously admitted in a 2019 BuzzFeed interview that she immediately became the muse of his now-released song called Claudia, and he ended up sending some of the song to her that very night.
Claudia has since continued to inspire her fiancé’s music, as well as working with him behind-the-scenes. He went on to write the song Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa for her, whose music video she directed and starred in.
The Deadcon actress then collaborated with Finneas on the music video for his songs, 2001, Lotus Eater, as well as recently released David’s Brother.
