Lady Louise Windsor receives huge boost after Duchess Sophie's rare comment
Prince William also shares in his cousin's joy, as does Princess Kate, as the trio receive good news
Lady Louise Windsor just got a major boost following her mother Duchess Sophie’s rare comments about her.
The oldest daughter of Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie attends St Andrews University, which is also Prince William and Princess Kate’s alma mater. The Duchess of Edinburgh recently referenced the university during her Japan tour.
And now, the institution has received a major honour.
According to The Sunday Times’ latest guide to the “Best Universities in the UK,” St Andrews sits at the number two spot in a list of ten universities, beating the likes of Durham, Cambridge, Oxford, and Warwick. The top spot was claimed by the London School of Economics.
Lady Louise is pursuing an English major St. Andrews — a fact that came up while Sophie, 65, was talking to a young Ukrainian refugee who is studying international relations.
The Telegraph reported that Sophie’s face “lit up” as she revealed Louise is also studying the subject as part of her English major.
The 21-year-old is walking in the footsteps of her cousin Prince William and his wife Princess Kate. William studied Geography while Kate studied History of Art.
It is well known that the Prince and Princess of Wales met in St. Andrews, where their romance blossomed.
