Who Is Anastasia Casey? Mystery author behind Charlie Kirk shooting book
Anastasia Casey's book was listed for publication on September 9, 2025, one day before the assasination
Charlie Kirk, an American political commentator, was shot dead, and now a book explaining the attack, its aftermath and America’s response has baffled the internet.
The 31-year-old, staunch Trump supporter, was shot dead on Wednesday, September 10 and a whole book about the assassination has raised questions.
The book titled, “The Shooting of Charlie Kirk: A Comprehensive Account of the Utah Valley University Attack, the Aftermath, and America’s Response,” is being attributed to an author named Anastasia J. Casey.
The book was listed for publication on September 9, 2025, one day before the assasination. However, its listing has since been removed from Amazon.
Some have claimed that it may be AI-generated but this didn’t deter netizens from asking questions.
One user, who claimed to have already purchased the book, wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “Most of the ‘book’ is true about the setting, the shot, etc and then it goes off course of the true events of yesterday and Charlie's life.”
Another wrote, “Can someone investigate this perhaps? It’s now pulled from #Amazon online listing. Who is Anastasia Casey? Regardless of the credibility of the 9.9 publish date, how did this book get out so quick? RIP #CharlieKirk.”
The News International was unable to find the details about the alleged author Anastasia J Casey, neither can we confirm the authenticity of the book or its publication date.
Amazon has not publicly commented on the development.
