D4vd’s Tesla: Decomposed dead body found in singer’s impounded car
Police said D4vd is not in trouble after a dead body was found in his car
A dead body was discovered on September 8, 2024, inside the trunk of a Black 2023 Tesla that belongs to the young singer D4vd (David Anthony Burke).
The car was abandoned in the Hollywood Hills area of Los Angeles and impounded to a lot on North Mansfield Avenue.
Workers at the lot called the police after a smell started coming from the car. Los Angeles police arrived and found human remains inside a bag. The body was heavily decomposed and chopped up, which made it even harder to examine.
The car with a dead body is registered in Hempstead, Texas, to David Anthony Burke (D4vd’s legal name). Police sources said that D4vd owns several cars, and different people use them. He was not driving this one, and someone else likely had it.
The police are further investigating it as a possible crime, but D4vd is not in trouble. He has been on a music tour and is helping with the information. The body is believed to be that of a woman, but details are still unclear.
Another similar incident took place where police found a woman’s dead body in a Honda Civic at a different tow yard in South Los Angeles. The police said the two cases are not connected.
Authorities want to talk with D4vd and anyone who is connected to the car. The medical examiner will find out the cause of death later. No arrest has been made, and D4vd is not a suspect.
In response to the incident, D4vd’s team turned off comments on his social media, probably to avoid rumours.
D4vd’s spokesperson told NBC News: “D4vd has been informed about what’s happened, and although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.”
Who is D4vd?
D4vd is a 20-year-old singer from New York who got famous on TikTok. He has millions of followers online and over 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
