A recent article published in Forbes claimed that Donald Trump’s wealth has fluctuated by $3 billion in one year, bringing his total wealth to a record $7.3 billion.

This massive gain is attributed primarily to his ventures into the cryptocurrency space. The reports suggest that he has used his position to profit immensely, particularly through his crypto project.

His wealth increase is linked to the launch of meme coins like $TRUMP and $MELANIA, as well as a large stake in the crypto exchange World Liberty Financial, which is a crypto venture founded by his family.

According to a report from the group State Democracy Defenders Action, Trump’s crypto holdings now represent “nearly 40% of his net worth – or approximately $2.9 billion.”

Trump’s involvement in cryptocurrency has drawn criticism and scrutiny from government watchdogs, ethics experts, and Democratic lawmakers.

His administration has taken actions to create a more crypto-friendly regulatory environment, including signing the GENIUS Act, which is the first major federal legislation to regulate stablecoins. This act has been cited as a major conflict of interest, as these policies could directly benefit his personal holdings.

In a previous sworn deposition, Trump stated that the “brand value” of the U.S. presidency had been worth to him “maybe $10 billion or something.”
