Inside Kelce family's heartwarming reaction to Travis, Taylor Swift's engagement

The engagement of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has sent shockwaves of joy throughout the NFL world, with the Kelce family being thoroughly impressed by the singer's presence in their lives.

Donna Kelce, Travis' mom, was thrilled to see the couple open up on their podcast, New Heights. 

"I did watch the podcast … and I think it was just really, really eventful," she shared with People magazine. "It was authentic. It was just something I think everybody was thrilled to see, and it was a very loving podcast." 

Donna has also been raving about Taylor's album, The Tortured Poets Department, saying, "I listened to the whole album, and I listened to it all morning long when it was released. I was just very impressed. She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work."

Ed Kelce, Travis' dad, has been equally impressed by Taylor's humility. "I'll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her," he began. 

"We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around... And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot," he told the outlet. 

Ed also believes Taylor is the reason behind Travis' happiness, saying, "Oh, Taylor. There's no question about it."

Jason Kelce, Travis' brother, has been a big supporter of the relationship, despite acknowledging the intense public interest. "It's certainly been weird, the level that it is now," he said. 

"On one hand, I'm happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he's excited about, that he is genuine about. But there's another end of it where it's like, 'Man, this is a lot.'" 

Jason's daughter Elliotte, 3, has even been singing Taylor's song I Can Do It With a Broken Heart on repeat, much to his amusement.

Kylie Kelce, Jason's wife, shared a now-viral TikTok video of their daughter asking questions about a football game, captioning it, "Just another swiftie tryna learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who knows? #GoBirds." 

This subtle nod to Travis' romance with Taylor Swift showcases the family's lighthearted and playful approach to the situation.
