Travis Kelce’s pal hints at NFL star’s wedding plans with Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce’s beloved friend drops bombshell about Taylor Swift’s marriage plans
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding will be one from the history book pages, as friends and fans excitedly await the big day.
The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end’s dear friend and coach, Andy Reid, revealed that he has already started planning his speech for when the couple decides to take the vows.
"Well, there are a few [stories] I can't tell,” Reid quipped speaking about the potential wedding speech Kansas City sports radio's 96.5 The Fan with Fescoe and Dusty.
"I mean he's done so many good things — all the things he does off the field people don't know about, just helping people out. He's got a big heart that way. I appreciate that the most," the coach continued.
Reid went on to reveal that he has a special connection to the couple because he knew the Grammy winner and her family before her relationship with Kelce.
"I knew her before he knew her. My family has been a big fan of hers, and we know her father and mother and that whole deal from the Philadelphia area," he shared.
The sports star continued, "And her dad’s a huge football fan, so we hit it off with him," adding that he knew Swift before "she became this famous person."
Reid also went on to appreciate Swift’s participation in making sports interesting for her female audience.
"I think it's great! Obviously, women and girls are looking at the game a little more. Look at flag football now — we're talking about Olympic sports, we're talking about college sports. Girls are having an opportunity to play the game and they're loving it. Not that it was all tied into [Swift], but she had a big part of that.”
