Sean Diddy Combs to get Presidential pardon?
Sean Diddy Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation, acquitted of other charges
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs may have a different future altogether if things go in his favour following recent developments.
As per the verdict of Combs’ sex trafficking trial, he was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but he was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
In a recent turn of events, there has come up a possibility that Combs may be given presidential pardon.
A Trump administration source reported to Deadline July 29, the US President is ‘seriously’ considering pardoning the 55-year-old.
Previously, the 78-year-old issued pardons to reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley in late May raising talks around the possibility of Combs also being pardoned in this way.
Donald Trump shared during May 30 Oval Office press conference, “I would certainly look at the facts. If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact on me.”
Currently, the disgraced music mogul is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York awaiting sentencing on October 3.
It has been revealed that he may face up to 20 years in prison.
