Charli XCX ties the knot leaving internet buzzing over who didn’t show
Charli XCX ties the knot with her longtime beau George Daniel as Matty Healy skips the day
Charli XCX had her Brat-style fairytale moment as she married The 1975’s George Daniel in a small London ceremony at Hackney Town Hall on Saturday.
The 32-year-old singer, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, chose a short white mini dress instead of a traditional gown.
She paired it with her signature sunglasses and a white veil, staying true to her bold and unique fashion sense.
Only around 20 of their closest friends and family were invited. The bride and groom shared kisses and laughs as they posed for photos, clearly over the moon.
Charli held a white bouquet while George wore a dark suit with an open shirt and a flower in his lapel that matched hers.
Two of George’s The 1975 bandmates, Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald, were spotted at the ceremony.
However, frontman Matty Healy was nowhere to be seen, which got fans talking.
Although Matty didn’t show up at the wedding, reports said that he joined George’s recent stag party in Ibiza earlier in the week.
Sources said the group had a short but wild celebration on the island before George flew back for the big day.
There have been buzz about the singer and her newly-husband planning a grand wedding in Sicily later this year. For now, they’ve officially said “I do” in London and the internet cant gushing about it.
Charli and George had announced their engagement back in 2023.
