Prince William, Princess Kate 'less impressed' with Charles-Harry talks
Prince Harry has to wait years in order to regain Prince William's trust
Prince William and Kate Middleton's reaction to King Charles and Prince Harry's peace talks is finally laid bare.
For the unversed, the monarch and Duke of Sussex's close aides were photographed in London, which was seen as a first step towards reconciliation between the Sussexes and the royal family.
However, there are reports that the Prince and Princess of Wales were not involved in the conversation.
Speaking of Harry's future in the royal fold, Tessa Dunlop said that Harry will win back the King and the UK's public trust, but the chances of making it to the good books of his brother, William, are quite rare.
According to The Independent, the royal historian said, "So far, so good; the road ahead is long and not straightforward, but it is hopeful."
She added, "A softer, forgiving King, and a happier Harry (who I suspect still covets the half-in, half-out role he mooted five years ago), is an infinitely more appealing prospect than the current cold war statis."
"However, when it comes to royal relations, a (crucial) third party was absent from the balcony. Subsequently, the Prince and Princess of Wales have reportedly been less than impressed with a 'peace summit' about which they knew nothing..." the royal expert wrote.
Tessa believes that the future King, William, still holds a "grudge" against Harry because he attacks the royal family and especially his wife, Catherine.
It appears that it "takes years for the future king to trust again, if he ever can," she stated.
