David Beckham shares throwback photos with Prince William on his birthday
Prince William receives heartwarming tributes on his 43rd birthday
David Beckham took to Instagram to celebrate Prince William's 43rd birthday, sharing two special photos of the royal alongside the former England captain.
The first image showed the duo laughing together at an FA reception in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2010, with Beckham captioning it "Happy Birthday Prince William x."
He tagged the Prince and Princess of Wales's official Instagram account, showing his close connection to the royal family.
Beckham followed up with another post featuring a more recent photo of himself and Prince William shaking hands at the BAFTAs in 2024.
This time, he included a Union Jack flag and a love-heart emoji in the caption, reiterating his birthday wishes. The gesture highlights the warm relationship between Beckham and the royal family, especially after being recently knighted by King Charles for his contributions to sport and charity.
Prince William's birthday was also marked by heartwarming tributes from his family.
The Princess of Wales shared an adorable photo of William surrounded by their black cocker spaniel Orla and her four puppies, captioning it "Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!".
King Charles and Queen Camilla posted their own birthday message, sharing a photo of William visiting farmers on the Duchy of Cornwall estate in May.
Prince William has been keeping busy with various royal engagements, including participating in Trooping the Colour and attending the Order of the Garter service at Windsor.
He was also present at Royal Ascot, although Princess Kate skipped the event due to an administrative error rather than health issues. Despite this, Kate released a heartfelt message commemorating Children's Hospice Week, showcasing her dedication to her royal patronages.
