Princess Charlotte borrows Kate’s chicest accessory
Princess Charlotte joins her brothers in tribute to ‘Papa’ William
Princess Charlotte melted hearts in the touching Father’s Day portrait shared by the Wales family but eagle eyed royal watchers may have missed a subtle, sentimental detail tucked into the young royal’s outfit.
Beaming alongside her father, Prince William, and brothers Prince George and Prince Louis, the 10 year-old princess looked prettyin a khaki jumper.
But nestled between her top and Louis’s was a very special accessory a green and navy tartan scarf that once belonged to her mother, Princess Kate.
Designed by Kiltane, is a familiar favourite from Kate’s wardrobe. Royal fans may recall the Princess of Wales donning the classic scarf on Christmas Day last year during the family’s traditional walk to church at Sandringham.
Charlotte has lovingly borrowed the accessory as she and her brothers marked Father’s Day with the message: “Happy Father’s Day, Papa. We love you! G, C & L.”
And this isn’t the first time mother and daughter have enjoyed a fashion twinning moment. Just last week at Trooping the Colour, the Wales ladies wowed in coordinating tones of blue.
Kate was a picture of poise in a bespoke aquamarine coat dress by Catherine Walker, featuring crisp white collar and cuff panels.
She elevated the look with biscuit-hued Gianvito Rossi heels and a Juliette Millinery hat.
