Meghan Markle's dance video draws wild claims of 'fake pregnancy'
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet
Meghan Markle shared a light-hearted moment with Prince Harry in hospital room, where the Duchess was seen playfully twerked in an effort to kickstart labour before the birth of their daughter, Lilibet, in 2021.
However, the fun clip shared on Instagram yesterday drew attention from conspiracy theorists who began questioning the authenticity of her pregnancy.
Some online commentators suggested that Meghan was not actually pregnant, accusing her of wearing a prosthetic belly-often referred to as a 'moonbump.'
Even some believed this video was fabricated, possibly filmed on a set or even generated using AI.
A few social media users argued that Meghan's ability to dance while heavily pregnant seemed 'unnatural,' suggesting it was evidence that she was not truly expecting.
Additional skeptics noted that if she was actually pregnant she would be wearing a gown instead of wearing jewellery and regular clothes.
The Duchess shared the video after previously releasing unseen photos of Lilibet.
To note, Prince Harry also joins in the clip, entering the frame in a hoodie as the viral track The Baby Momma Dance plays in the background.
Alongside the video, Meghan wrote in the caption:' Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates...so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture did not work-there was only one thing left to do!'
