Joshua Jackson has recently shared his experience of bringing his daughter on the set of Karate Kid: Legends.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the movie’s premiere on May 27, the Dawson’s Creek star revealed he brought his five-year-old daughter, Juno, whom he shares with Jodie Turner-Smith, on set.
Joshua recalled his daughter came to visit Montreal for five, six days as his brother lived up there.
“It was a family trip and I brought her on set the day that we were doing the fight scene,” said the 46-year-old.
The Affair actor noted that was “really dumb”.
“She did not like seeing her dad get beat up,” he confessed.
Therefore, Joshua mentioned, “I don't think I'll watch it with her in the theatrical run, but within a couple years I think we'll be okay.”
The Fringe actor opened up that it was the first time he had taken her to work.
Elsewhere in the interview, Joshua opened up that he has some plans for summer.
“She graduates from school or from [Transitional Kindergarten] TK in a couple of weeks, and then we got some summer camp and we'll figure it out after that,” explained the actor.
In another interview with TODAY show, Joshua revealed his fitness training for the movie as he gained 20 lbs.
“I walk around at 175. I was almost 195 for the movie,” he continued.
Joshua noted, “It was harder than I thought it was going to be. I was eating 4,000 calories a day.”
Meanwhile, Karate Kids: Legends will be released in theatres on May 30.
