'Thunderbolts' star reflects on the difficulties of shooting in superhero costume
Lewis Pullman reveals shocking insight about playing superhero
Lewis Pullman, who made his Marvel debut with Thunderbolts, has shared a deep insight about filming in a superhero costume.
Pullman has opened that wearing a skin-tight costume and shooting for hours is not an easy job. It requires a lot of effort and compromises.
The 32-year-old confessed that he did not drink anything for three hours straight because then he would want to use the bathroom, which was quite time consuming.
The Top Gun: Mavrick actor opened, "Nobody is asking about the bladder control training that it takes to put on one of these suits.”
"But I would have to not drink for three hours before I got in the suit. You really learn to be able to monitor how far you are away from peeing your pants as a grown man."
Lewis told Esquire that ‘it takes 20 minutes, half an hour to put it on or take it off.’
“We'd play Creed on our little speakers and he baby-powdered me down”, the actor said.
Directed by Jake Schreier, the all-new MCU film stars Florence Pugh, Sebastien Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell and others.
