Jack Black unlocks major milestone with 'A Minecraft Movie'
Jason Momoa's action adventure is breaking records at the box office
A Minecraft Movie has been breaking records ever since it released.
Earlier today, actor Jack Black revealed that he has unlocked a major achievement with the new fantasy film.
According to him, one of the soundtracks belonging to the Jason Momoa starrer has topped the UK Charts.
Song Steve’s Lava Chicken, which is just a 34-seconds long track performed by Black, has become the shortest ever UK Top 40 single. It stands at number 21 in the overall list.
Besides that, the soundtrack marks as the 55-year-old musician’s highest ever charting single in the UK.
Expressing his feelings over this big milestone in a video message, the School of Rock actor stated, “OK, I just heard that 'Steve’s Lava Chicken' has cracked the UK Top 40. I want to send big love to all the Minecraft fans for getting us up there – it’s insane! Love you!”
He even sung a few lines of his chartbuster music in the Instagram video.
A Minecraft Movie is helmed by Jared Hess starring Momoa, and Black along with Jennifer Coolidge.
The adventure action is based on Sega’s video game.
