Keanu Reeves gets unexpected call to join Coachella chaos
Hollywood icon Keanu Reeves gets an invitation from rock band to join Coachella madness
Keanu Reeves, Hollywood’s legendary actor who was best known for his hits like The Matrix and John Wick, has found himself at the center of a surprising musical moment when a punk band wanted him to join them on stage at Coachella.
The punk duo, once called Slaves, wrote a song called John Wick about Keanu Reeves. Now, Isaac Holman and Laurie Vincent want the Dogstar bassist himself to join them at Coachella and perform it live.
They shared on their Instagram account, saying: “Keanu we f**** love you mate, we wrote a song about John Wick, from the perspective of John Wick.
We’d love for you to hear it and it would be a dream come true if you would come and play bass on it with us at Coachella. Much love. Isaac (age 33) and Laurie (age 32) xx”
Last year, Dogstar took fans by surprise when they hit the road for their Summer Vacation Tour.
The rock band, featuring guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose and drummer Rob Mailhouse, toured Europe and North America last year in support of their comeback album, Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, released in 2023.
Meanwhile, Reeves is gearing up to return as the nunchuck-wielding assassin in John Wick 5.
