Kelly Clarkson gets emotional as she returns to her long-running show after she disappeared mysteriously for a 'personal matter'.
As Clarkson resumed her host duties, her interaction with a particular guest brought her to tears.
Daily Mail reported that it was This is Us star Sterling K. Brown whose life's anecdote moved her.
The Biosphere actor revealed during his latest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show the origin of his first name and also explained the reason for actually not using it until the age of 16.
Brown confessed that his birth name was his grandfather's as well as father's: Sterling Brown Sr. and Sterling Brown Jr. respectively.
The Frozen 2 alum elaborated that till the age of 16, he had used his middle name Kelby, before he started using his first name.
The 49-year-old explained that he wanted to hear the name again as "he [had] passed away when I [he] was 10, by the time I [he] turned 16 and I [he] hadn't heard his name for 5, 51/2 years."
